The Story Behind Black Tuna
Black Tuna is a renowned cannabis strain named after the infamous Black Tuna Gang, a smuggling ring led by Robert Platshorn, also known as Bobby Tuna, in the 1970s. Bobby Tuna’s legacy extends beyond his smuggling days; after serving nearly 30 years in prison, he dedicated his life to cannabis activism and breeding high-quality strains. His work with Trulieve has cemented Black Tuna as one of the most popular strains among medical cannabis patients in Florida.
